In 1990, Auto Wax Company, located in Dallas, Texas, began research on a brand of products formulated to meet the special needs of the body shop professional. Research had shown that body shops were in need of quality products that were silicone free, easy to apply, quick to remove, and effective on today's fresh paint.

After 4 years of relentless research and development, the Body Magic® line was launched in 1994 to an eager marketplace. In the short years since its introduction, Body Magic® has established itself as a long-term player in body shops around the world.
